What about the Trinidad fight? People who have been in the buisness know how to be sneaky. Other people who have been in the buisness know what to look for. Richardson deserves all the credit.

Why terminate a guy who was in most likelyhood never trained to find these kinds of discrepancies? He would only be a fall guy. The real blame should be placed on (other than Margs and Capetillo) the CSAC for not spending the money to train these guys, who for all intent purposes is just a figurhead of their commision.
Because that would be like me taking a job for missile defense for our country knowing I don't know **** about it. Yet, I knowingly take the responsibility and put innocent peoples' lives at stake for money. That's a pretty good reason he should be terminated!

... but your right the guys who hired him and "trained" him should also be disciplined!

BUT.......Richardson DID find something wrong withe Tito's wraps, and if there was nothing bad about it why did the commision make him have his hands retaped. Credit where credit is due.

Just "feeling" a wrap and knowing how and why it is illegal are two different things.

Thing is, these commisions consider their inspectors "qualified". Can't really blame the guy if he was allowed to be an inspector but not properly trained.

Would you willingly perform surgery on a patient after a 24 hr crash course? That dude is as guilty as anyone else. He probably was married to someone's sister.

What really bothers me is the fact that the wraps were evaluated and approved prior to Richardson objection. Margarito's wraps were evaluated in the previous fights too. Since 2005, Margarito has fought at California, Nevada, New Jersey and New York. In California, he previously fought Paul Williams. He fought Cotto and Cintron in Nevada. In NY and New Jersey, he fought Clottey, Cintron and Johnson.

So it is highly unlikely for the same commishioner deputy to be in charge in supervising the hand wrapping for each fight at different states. Then again, who knows if Capetillo (and Bob Arum) knew who to pay in order to have the deputy look the other way during the wrapping process. No wonder Arum is doing "everything on his power" to save Margarito's ass. Maybe he is been blackmailed to do so...

The fact that Tony's wraps were cleared prior to the Mosley fight is THE MOST HORRIFYING FACT people seems to be over-looking. It's going to be hard to find this kind of corrupting evidence, but then again, history has shown that BOXING is not the Sport Of Gentlemen that used to be long, long ago...

So what do you think??? Other than Capetillo and Margarito, WHO ELSE SHOULD FACE THIS INVESTIGATION???
All the more reason to believe he only tried it against Mosley. There is no way in hell that he can fight every time with those wraps on and not be discovered. They check the wraps every fight, the opponent's trainer also checks the wraps. Nothing was seen until now. There is no possible way that they would be approved all other times before and no one notice the plaster. No way in hell.

You're comparing apples and oranges here. Would a hospital hire someone to perform surgery after a 24 hr course? If they did they would be more culpable than the person who THOUGHT he knew what he was doing.

and even if he was married to someones sister, doesn't that say more about the commision that hired him than the man himself?
