Excellent boxer who fell in love with the knockout and often forgot to use his skills going for that knockout. The two Simon Brown fights are an example of how he looked when he wanted to use his skills and when he didn't.

He was always one of my favorites. Very aggressive and exciting fighter to watch.

Norris was a talented fighter who seem to lack some of the great discipline needed to be a top fighter. He had the infamous disqualifications in the Santana fights, suffered the knockouts to Brown and Jackson. He also was the fighter who send SRL to retirement with that beating at MSG in 1991, had notable wins against guys like M.Taylor, Mugabi, Curry, Brown(2nd fight), Blocker, and Castro(tough argentine fighter who didn't get knocked out until his 124th fight & first to take Jones the distance).

Terry Norris was a very skilled fighter with a bad chin. My problem with terry is that there so many potential fights that didnt. Like James Toney, Jackson2, Mcclellan, Whittaker, Trinidad, and De La Hoya. Not saying it was his fault that they didnt happen, but if he would have won some of these fights he could have achieved true greatness

Outstanding offensive fighter. The chin, not so much.
