Amazon Kindle - thoughts?

Anyone got it or tried it? What do you think?

It's payday and I want to treat myself. I've already discounted the iPad (funnily enough because of the feedback I got in a thread I made on it)

I have the nook and love the hell out of it. I read constantly.

But think about money. You can buy the new kindle 3 for like 139. Its a steal.

Get the one with Wifi only, there is always a place to get Wifi...I promise. Don't spend the extra 60 bucks or so on a Kindle with 3G+Wifi. Its a waste of money brother.

Thanks man. I was contemplating the 3G + Wi-Fi but the consensus does seem to be that it's a little unecessary.

Cool that you dig it so much. And yes, the price is very alluring.
