There was a great reception this afternoon at the Hermosillo Internancional Airport, where Juan Francisco Estrada (23-2, 18 KOs) arrived from Macau, China. Last Saturday in Macau, Estrada stopped Brian Viloria's streak of victories over Mexican boxers by winning a clear twelve round decision to capture the WBA/WBO flyweight titles. He did what very few believed was possible, and what Giovani Segura, Pingo Miranda, Omar Nino and Tyson Marquez failed to do in the last two years. He was mobbed by fans, family, friends and the press.

Great fight & he showed real championship material in the last few rounds when he picked up the pace..Not that he started slow or anything, as a matter of fact he started strong & at a quick pace, but had the strength & conditioning to pick it up even more! That's what killed Viloria, that he could keep up & was drained, hurt & was only swinging here & there out of instinct & pure heart..Estrada seems like a name We're gonna be hearing a lot...
