You'd think Kownacki could take enough pride in himself to get in somewhere remotely close to being in shape. SMH

It’s not a body building contest. Kownacki is the Polish equivalent of George Foreman.

Kownacki's style means he has to be in-shape...... come forward and throwing a lot of punches..... it's not like the guy can not train lol

He is in shape. He went 12 rounds in his last fight and threw over 1000 punches. You can't do that if you aren't in good condition.

You don't have pride in yourself if you look like a flabby slob with your shirt off. In front of thousands of people. And no, you aren't in shape if you look like that. But hey, all the Kownacki, Ruiz etc fans will immediately come to those tub's defense anytime the obvious fat rolls are brought up. If that's fine with you, then go for it. Not my thing to give pro athletes passes for not taking their jobs seriously. To each their own. No worries.

When Foreman was Kownacki's age range, he was in shape. Only when he came back well into his 40s did he look anywhere near that.

He faded in the second half vs martin and in the last couple rounds vs Arreola though.

Could be attributed to him not being used to fighing the distance and having paced himself wrongly, but being lighter also helps improve your stamina.

If he is content with his current level, than there is no need to change anything, but if he wants to compete with the elites, he should have tried to come in lighter and see if his performance improves or worsens.
