Two-time Olympic Gold medal winner, Jerzy Kuley of Poland, passed away in a hospital in Warzaw at the age of 72 due to heart problems. Kuley won gold at light welterweight at the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo and again in Mexico City in 1968. His amateur record read an incredible 317-25-6. Kuley also won the European championships in 1963 and 1965 and a silver in 1967. Jerzy was elected to the Polish parliament in 2001 and held a seat until 2005.
