According to top featherweight contender Jonathan Barros and his handlers, the boxer tested "negative" for Hepatitis C - in a separate test conducted over the weekend. On Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Barros was scheduled to have a mandatory fight with IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby - but prior to the official weigh-in on Friday, the fight was canceled when the Nevada State Athletic Commission advised the media that Barros did not "meet the medical requirements" to get licensed to fight.
