strategies for winning at sports betting, long parlays

I have been thinking about this for the last few months about how to win in betting on NFL games and been trying to think of strategies at winning those Point Spread parlays (7-10 games). The NFL season will begin soon. Even if I can't bet on NFL games, Point Spread will be available for college football and college basketball)

I have come up with a few strategies of my own which I feel like I can win at least 30-40 % of the time betting on parlays. If I win that often, that would be more than enough to never have to work again. I calculated the odds, how many tickets I would have to purchase for a bet, how much I would have to wager, and how many times I would play each parlay in a year. When I saw the numbers about the potential profits you can make, I was shocked.

I told a few people about this, but they just tell me that it's not so easy, and they don't recommend it. But I feel that my strategy may work. I have to test it first when the NFL season starts.

Has anyone else here ever been trying to think of strategies to win at betting??

I have done a lot of research and it says a very small percentage of people who gamble will be successful in the long term. And all of them make their money by betting on single games and they hardly play parlays. If they did play parlays, it was only for shorter parlays ( 3 to 5 games).

For example, if I wanted to bet on an 8 game parlay, I would purchase 40 tickets for those same 8 games. The odds payed for a 8 game parlay here where I live is 150. If I wagered $5 per ticket

cost = 40 tickets x $5 = $200
payout = 150 x $5 = $750

If I win 40% of the time playing like that, that would be a lot of profit to win.

I don't thinking gambling online is safe. I just buy tickets from the stores.

I live in Canada, and it is Point Spread I want to play. That means there is a line. So if I pick the underdog, they don't have to win, just don't lose by more than they the line that the favorite is favored by. In Spread parlays, they count them all as 50/50.

The other game which I don't like so much is called Pro Line. That one has a limit of 6 games in a parlay. The winners you pick have to win by a minimum of 4 points, or you can pick Tie (which means you pick the result to end within 3 points). The bigger underdogs of course get a lot better odds than the favorites. They multiply all the odds by the wager. That's how Pro Line works.

Im probably the biggest gambler on this site. I was addicted at one time. I use to play parlays alot and still do at times. I rarely ever go as big as 8 games. If I do its only for a couple of dollars. Most of the time I will just bet between a 1-4 team parlay. When it comes to the NFL though you will find that the safest bet is just a straight one game wager or the one I choose the most now if I did still wager which is a teaser.

They pay the least amount of money but they are the easiest to win. If I were to advise you I would tell you to play more of this and stop beeing greedy unless you really know what youre doing. I never tried that strategy youre talkin about but trust me, its not as simple as you think. Even if you win, that means you will have lost 39 of those bets which would bring that 750 down to 545 which is good but you will probably still lose way more then you win so I think you will end up losing alot of money.

Trust me, you are not out thinking these casinos. You are not the 1st one to come up with that strategy. If it were that easy then it wouldnt be allowed. You will lose more then you win by doing that, I will gurantee it. Play safe, atleast until you know what youre doing. Also, there are some very safe online sites to bet at. Thats where I use to wager. You just have to go to the right sites, the top sites
