    well???????

Altough a big puncher, Monzon was not a one punch KO artist most nights, and he was no Muhammad Ali, either. But he was methodical technically very sound and completely unflappable in the ring. Monzon stood in there calmy and patiently and picked guys apart with sharp, straight, crisp blows and unerring accuracy.

Monzon also had a mean streak a mile long and enjoyed nothing more than giving a fighter a good beating. He was kind of heavy footed, and his hands weren't that fast either. But he did so many damn things so well that he was damned near perfect, even if he didn't always look it.

He was an awkward boxer-puncher, really good ramrod jab and a hard right han, he was excellent at predicting where an opponent would be when he threw his punches as well.

          Boxer-puncher.

Really awkward, slow starter, immensily accurate, dude had laser beams on his punches,he didn't waste anything, good defense and he was a master of the art of clinching when he was in trouble.

          Excellent fighter.

Very solid very capable fighter. Nothing flashy not paticularily pleasing on the eye pretty much without weakness just slowly but surely beat the other fighters up.
