  • What makes top American fighters superior to top UK fighters?

Top UK brothers like Frank Bruno, Kell Brook, Anthony Joshua, looked the part with their bulging muscles. But they all fell apart on the biggest stage.

American brothers like Mike Tyson, Errol Spence, Deontay Wilder, etc, may not have the same muscular bodies, but they are the ones that truly dominate at the top.

Why do UK brothers seem softer than their American counterparts? Is it culture? coaches? techniques? environment? genetics?

Chins.........What the fk is up with Uk fighters? Do they have weaker neck muscles or jaws or something? All of them are immensely gifted skill wise, but can't a take a punch for some reason

He named Wilder that had to rob a UK fighter after getting outboxed.

              That's some bad exemple....

If you want to talk about US dominance, pick Bud, Floyd, Ward....

That being said, England are like 55 millions people, so they are doing pretty well in boxing from a talent stand point.

Yeah England is tiny compared to the US so you'd be more fair to compare Europe vs the US. It's like a continent more than a country. The UK is a small island. Surpassing odds and probability. That been said UK fighters are more prone to adopting the European amateur upright style. The US has much more variety and nuanced boxing styles, those old school elements have been passed on, much more slick and seasoned. This is my humble opinion. But look at Carl froch you can't just say the UK guys are chinny. Fury goes down maybe but he's the only guy to not get knocked out by wilder. Look what happened to brezeale. You have a few slick UK boxers mainly out of the ingle gym but they don't really consistently succeed at world level ie Prince nas, Kell brook. But they've done well and Johnny Nelson. Lennox Lewis is an ATG. Degale did good on the road. Just no good welterwights atm. I wana see plant vs smith

How are you gonna use deontay wilder as an example? He is a very flawed champion in currently a flawed division.
