What do you think of this middleweight? He's age 20 and 17-0.

    Here's his record: http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php...9447&cat=boxer

Needed to stay amateur more.Turned pro to soon.

But he has a good trainer in Canada's Teddy Atlas,Russ Anber.

Still I'd like him to fight a few more weaker opponnets till stepping up.

I read about him in the ring, the plan is to bring him up slow, like so he has 40 fights before his first title fight

Lemieux is looking great. I honestly think he will be champion, i haven't seen that many of his fights but from what i have seen i think he is still a little rough around the edges, he needs a few more fights and he will be ready to step up.

he needs a lot of improvement, when he throws his right his left is way to low,his foot work needs to be fine tuned, and his counter punches should be thrown with more finesse, also he should not hit a boxer when he is down as he did in his last fight, other than that with improvements in these fields he can be a contender

I read a piece on him in the Ring magazine, went the distance only once, and that was in a 4 rounder.

seems to have decent power as well.

I don't think he's as big a puncher as his record suggests but he does have pretty heavy hands, looks like a sucker for an uppercut though and needs more work.

                    from fight news:

"Make it 18 for 18 as middleweight knockout sensation David Lemieux destroyed former ‘Contender’ series star Donnie McCrary (24-10-2 13KO) at 2:40 of the opening round. After exchanging combinations in the middle of the ring, McCrary walked straight back with his hands down and was brutalized by a Lemieux right hand, dropping the Missouri hard to the canvas in a crumpled heap. McCrary managed to beat the count, but Lemieux managed a right to the body and followed it immediately with another to the head which had McCrary down and out and the fight being called immediately."
