With a broken orbital bone who knows what permanent damage (if any) has been done or could have been done to him if the fight was to go on. We all saw how a broken orbital bone pretty much sealed the faith for Margarito and we have yet to see how Chavez jr holds up when he returns as he suffered a broken orbital bone against martinez as well.


In a fight where he needed a knockout and which was probably unlikely to happen, I think the stoppage benefited him more then it did Mikey. Salido leaves looking like the warrior and Mikey leaves looking like the coward and the stoppage probably saved his career.

garcia is the real deal in terms of his talent and his skills. if he can show the mental toughness down the road he can do great things in boxing.
