What's changed is that DAZN have entered boxing and they are willing to spend a lot of money to broadcast big fights, while making a loss. If ever there is a time to make this fight, it is now, while DAZN are still willing to do such a thing.

In a couple of years when Wilder is more willing to make the fight, the odds are that DAZN will be scaling down their spend on boxing, to pay for other sports rights obtained in that time.

Just cuz dazn was willing to pay wilder a massive amount of money to make the fight happen this year, doesn’t necessarily mean Hearn was that far out of line last year. Dazn seems to have a track record of overpaying fighters. What you should explain is, why wilder accepted 15mil, but rejected 100mil if his market value hasn’t changed much like you say. He obviously disagrees with you.
