ok so mr top rank president says golden boy never called, though they had a contract sent over to them to try and make the fight happen. You would think if someone sent you a contract it would prompt a phone call or a counter offer. Both guys are to blame but im starting to blame Top Rank a bit more on why fights with GBP fighters are not happening.

You actually do sound like a billy goat. They are never noted for common sense and have much free space between their ears. Every one of the hundreds of clauses and conditions in that "contract" so-called, would still have had to have been NEGOTIATED and agreed on.

It was NOT a contract, just a PR stunt, part of the ongoing jealousy of Golden Balls for Top Rank. I suppose you haven't noticed that Schaeffer makes most of the most recent announcements and Oscar has dropped more into the background. That's because Oscar doesn't have either the brains or the education to take on Bob Arum of Top Rank. Oscar always lost. Not that it matters, but I notice these things. However Schaeffer doesn't do much better, the phony "contract" was a BIG loss. Top Rank doesn't bother with these piddly little things.
