Kessler stops Lucas to keep belt
Kessler was on top of Lucas from the opening bell
Mikkel Kessler retained his WBA super middleweight title when he stopped Canadian challenger Eric Lucas in the 10th round in Copenhagen on Saturday.
The Dane dominated through his jab, wobbled Lucas in the second round and cut his opponent's right eyebrow.
Kessler, 26, improved his record to 37-0 with 27 knockouts, while Lucas drops to 38-7-3.
It was Kessler's second defence of the title he won in November 2004 by stopping Puerto Rican Manny Siaca.
