  • Le getting ko'd proved one more time how special PAC is..

.. History has shown that top-level fighters who take a break from their jobs as fighters to do movies or what not and then comeback to fight fringe contenders or paper champs end up gettin KTFO.

The most recent(very recent) example was tonight's huge upset with Le gettin KTFO, other notable upsets due to fighters doing other activities were boxers like Lennox and Tarver.

Well, enter PAC, what he did was even crazier, he actually juggled two jobs, being an actor where he played the lead and preparing for a world-class fighter!! The other guys just played supporting characters for their film roles.

RJJ did something similar, he played in a semi-pro b-ball game and then fought a bum named Eric Lucas. That's still not the same as filming an entire movie while preparing for a world-class fighter and dealing with the tragedies in his country!!

If others tried to do what PAC did, they'd probably burn themselves out.

And you know what is even crazier? Freddie is urging PAC to do more of those other than boxing stuff as he said "Manny is sharper when he has less downtime in training." Roach says Pacquiao becomes happy doing all of this stuff in the middle of big fights and a happy PAC is an even deadlier fighter. Talk about irony huh?

i know ima sound like a huge mayweather nut hugger which is not the case but mayweather was on dancing with the stars for 4 weeks(i think) while training for ricky hatton and obviously pacs opponent was harder than roys but playin bball the same day u fight is physically and mentally harder then shootin a movie weeks before u fight. im just tryin to be fair because i know theres a lot of biased pacquiao fans on boxingscene.

          Uhh, that's what you think.

Maybe you were not aware of PAC's role in the movie. He was the leading actor playing a superhero, which meant doin' alot of his own stunts, having to stay up all kinds of hours, meaning: filming the film in the middle of the night. Having to memorize lines. All that can be mentally and physically draining, moreso than playing a 2 hour game of b-ball !! And the filming went on for weeks alongside his training for Cotto !!

um thats what u (and most pacquiao fans) think. the filming stopped weeks before the fight and roy played basketball only a few hours before his fight so im pretty sure filming that movie had no effect on pacquiao during the fight.

Le could of won that he was trying to put to much of a show on at the end. But what roy did was crazy he played in that game then fought later that night.
