      I dont think it was used as a racial slur in that context at all. It's just common hood slang people of all races who come from that type of environment use all the time.

      I don't agree with it, but let's not make it a race thing.

                    Well of course he's not okay with it. It's a common vernacular though. Nothing to do with oppression in cases like this.
