Srisaket Sor Rungvisai has signed a multi-fight promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing USA and DAZN. The reigning two-time WBC Super-Flyweight champion, Ring Magazine champion and pound-for-pound star has been a huge hit in America following a pair of wins over Roman Gonzalez in 2017 and then victory against Juan Francisco Estrada last February.

Like half the top 10 P4P list is with DAZN now.
And they said they wouldn't sign anybody good.

Think theyre both to take tuneups then fight in the summer, May think I saw. Then hopefully unify with the Chocolatito/Yafai winner end of the year.

This is true. But it wasn't DAZN original plan. Their original plan was to go after top US boxers, hence the DAZN-Matchroom USA moto.
Other than Canelo non of the names push a needle in the US market.

Talent wise DAZN>PBC. And who are these big stars in the American market anyway? Nobody in the greater sports world gives a **** about 99% of these guys. How many fans did Keith Thurman have at his last fight, or the Charlo Brothers?

What? Who said they wouldn't sign anyone good? It was the big names they were after that people said they wouldn't get. Signing P4P guys like SSR and Usyk was the exact type of guys they were going to get. Quality guys with no set fan base. Same with Andrade. Now, getting Canelo/GGG? Those are the big names people didn't think DAZN were going to get. Obviously at that time HBO had not gone out of business so it was impossible to predict this.
