I think everything about this show is f'd up, to be honest.

It is not in any way appropriate to attempt to take advantage of a young girl. But this kind of stuff is really just nonsensical. It is entrapment conducted for the entertainment of American television audiences.

If so that is better, but 18 is still sort of child abuse imo.

You turn 18 and legally you are okay, but it takes time to adjust. It isn't as though on the day of your birthday, you magically cross some divining line.

If they are 20 or 21, then I would say no problem.

I don't know about entrapment though.

And entrapment is when the police actively influence and possibly coerce a person into committing to a criminal situation which is tied to a fabricated instance and does not really exist.

Or that's how I regard it. I'm not a lawyer, however.

I remember on some episodes of COPS they would purposely leave a nice high quality bike in some location known to have a lot of thieves and then bust their **** when someone stole it.

That may be borderline, but I wouldn't call that entrapment. I think that if the cops set up an entire fake situation, that is entrapment though.
