Even if we just say Khabib is that good. He looked more like Jon Fitch than any of Hardy, Condit, Hendricks etc. who showed more heart even in convincing Ls against GSP. (minus Hendricks who I still think deserved the nod)

But you're right, it certainly cuts out Oliveira. Chandler still has at least 1 top 5 fight to go.

While Tony, in my opinion, is a non factor. There's always that wish as fight fans that Tony-Khabib would happen. But Tony bit b2b losses. He's out of the picture imo.

But if they did put up Dustin v. Max for the strap. They could do Chandler v Oliveira to fight the winner. Which could continue to build those guys and ride their waves.
    Are you tripping?

They already fought recently and Dustin won.

Dustin won interim LW strap by beating Max. His win over Max is the only reason he has touched a piece of the LW strap.

He's now 2 and 0 vs Max in his career. No point having a third fight coming off his biggest ever win

Dustin vs Olivera for LW title on merit.

Chandler vs Justin for no.1 contender.

Tony vs Conor because now is the time to make it with both coming off tough losses.

If Diaz wants it then Conor vs Diaz 3 due to money and Hooker vs Tony due to fun matchup and both guya coming off devastating losses.

That's a good 2 fight plan and works with the latest UFC rankings.

For Max, it's also a win win. If he loses, well it was at lightweight, and can always go back to feather. If he wins, then he legit becomes the biggest star in the sport.

As much as i like max I don't see him becoming a star, he had a good spell as a dominant champion not too long ago and still didn't get much recognition

No one's ever beat someone twice, then do it for a third time.

Trilogy with Volka..if Volka wants it.

Btw what do you mean a trilogy has never really happened?

Not in the same weight class anyway. Wanderlei Silva beat Kazushi Sakuraba 3 times though in Pride.

Ah ok...but there have been trilogy fights before. YOu could say there hasn't been a trilogy of wins.
