2 by which you are saved, if you hold it fast--unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures,
5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.
7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.,

          • There are many reasons why thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. For one, it is a time to spend with family and friends and to reflect on all that we are thankful for. It is also a time to enjoy delicious food, including the traditional turkey dinner. Thanksgiving is also a time for giving, whether it be through volunteering at a local soup kitchen or donating to a food drive. I love that thanksgiving is a holiday that is all about being thankful for what we have and giving back to those who are less fortunate. Christians celebrate thanksgiving because it is a beautiful day to remember the blessings that God has given us, to extend His hand of divine mercy and providence to others, and to offer the hope of salvation to those in need. We must remember to be thankful to Jesus Christ for His sacrifice on the cross, which has given us eternal life. All Christians, regardless of denomination, agree that this is of utmost importance. This thanksgiving, we should try to remember reasons to be thankful. This is good for one’s mental and physical health and also brings great honor to God above.

                • I love going to church and singing hymns because it is a very peaceful and calming experience for me. It allows me to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just focus on my relationship with God. I also find that the music and lyrics of the hymns are very beautiful and uplifting, which always makes me feel happy and grateful.

                  • Enter [the Lord's] gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
                    ( Psalms 100:4–5 )
