Allot of the Old Testament was borrowed from the Babylonian “Bible” called “When on High”. It’s seven days of creation story has quite a few similarities vs the Story of Creation.

There’s a lot of Gods mentioned in the Old Testament that are not worshipped anymore

There’s a lot of ancient beliefs in the afterlife. Ancient Israelites believed in “Sheol”.

The idea of an afterlife, hell, Tartarus, heaven,bosom of abraham...

and this is just in the Bible. Not accounting for other worldly beliefs.
