We are a primitive, barbaric society. The fact that wars are still being fought among us and racism still runs rampant is obvious proof that we are still a barbaric and primitive society, hopefully still in its infancy. I was thinking about something similar recently in regards to war. What if the world came together and disbanded all militaries and just used that defense money purely for education, scientific research and tech development for the common good? It's a fantasy, but it would be an amazing time.
