True, but a lot of the ones that felt like glorified Dynamite episodes were in the early days when they had a small roster, and a lot of their PPVs happened in the pandemic. But they fid they pretty good for the little they had, now they seem too much of a good thing with such a big roster.

Good point. I heard people were pissed Roman won because they were in the UK for yesterday's PPV with Drew challenging for the world title. They're probably waiting for Cody to come back to win the title from Roman though. They should've at least had Sami Zayn win in his hometown of Montreal on Smackdown though, that was lame. If they wanted Sheamus to win, should've done it in another city. All Out is tonight. Only matches I'm really looking forward to are Hook title defense, Danielson/Jericho, TBS Title, FTR and Wardlow team up and to see if they finally let Ruby Soho get a f****n win again. And hopefully if Britt Baker wins back the Women's World Title. Men's World Title would've been better if we hadn't seen it already. That was some WWE style booking right there.

Clash at the Castle was pretty good. The main event was the best match, also liked Gunther vs. Sheamus, that was a great match too. Rollins vs. Riddle didn't disappoint either.

Dude, how does Britt Baker not go over in that 4 way match and win the title? She's been getting done filthy by Tony Khan lately. Other than the Women's Owen tournament, she's been pretty much getting buried. Her booking has been a joke since she lost the title. Baker is the best female talent AEW has and Khan is wasting her. WTF is wrong with him. At least I heard MJF made a return. They better push the hell out of him now. Pretty clever return too. And Christian wins in 20 seconds? Were they running low on time? Way to make one of your young talents look weak there, Tony.

He kinda looked like that Masked Magician guy from those Fox TV specials in the late 90s to early 2000s. All Out was pretty good, a little underwhelming though. Main event seemed kind of short. And while most of the other matches were very good, nothing really stood out.

MJF stole the show though, great to see him back.

I thought Clash at the Castle was a better show than All Out.

I think she's the best female on their roster too but since she had her reign and already fought Rosa 20x they probably want to give her a break. Kind of dumb they separate the women tho and they just don't have the depth. Britt should atleast be helping put over Jade. She's not really beating anybody to give her streak any credibility. Brittany does that for her. Then you can build her back up to regain the other title later. Nobody stands a chance to end that streak atleast realistically other than Britt or Thunder. They should let Jade go over Britt. Let Jade beat Thunder/Storm and unify. Than eventually have Britt end the streak. Than that title has value with multiple contenders and it's wide open.

I thought there was some curious choices in both events. Acclaimed is winning those belts very soon hopefully the crowd reaction propels them to more relevant wins so they can realistically go over. Was just weird from the start to even have that match without the gunn bros involved. Than they wouldn't of had to lose clean.

I guess I get Jericho going over Bryan so eventually Garcia can go over Jericho. But the match was missing some intensity since it was just thrown together with no real purpose.

Obviously love MJF is back and gunning for Punk. It's hard to take AEW backstage heat rumors seriously now since they come out every week. I think Punk is just setting up his next fun rivalries with Hangman and Kenny when MJF finally gets the reigns. I just wish there was more to that joker reveal too. It was cool but it would of been cooler if he actually was creating havoc on the show weeks before. Not just some random joker guy coming out of the blue with no real hype behind him. That was my biggest thing with aew which is surprising since they've been so good with storytelling but now it just seems super rushed from top to bottom because they have too many people to squeeze in.


Wasn't thrilled Roman retained either and Sheamus lost. The reasoning is fine for both but its still disappointing we didn't see atleast one of them send the crowd home happy with a career defining moment. But obviously they don't want Gunther to lose so soon and Kross seems like the guy that's going to over Reigns to make him an instant star. Nobody else really makes sense until Cody comes back. I think Kross wins it at survivor series. And holds it until Cody comes back to win it at Mania. Than that will be the hot rivalry for next year.

I heard Kris Statlander might end Jade Cargill's winning streak. When she comes back from whatever injury she has, that is. Maybe they could have Athena win the women's title then, like they mentioned to each other in a promo back in June I believe. And if Kross is going over Roman, shouldn't they break up the titles again? Wasn't part of the fun of the Royal Rumble seeing which title the winner would challenge for? Kind of takes the suspense out of it if there's only one men's champ. Now we only get that suspense on the women's side. Unless the men's winner takes a step down and somehow decides to challenge for the NXT title. Like that one year Charlotte did when she won the Women's Rumble.
