Jimmy Garvin was out of place in the WWF back in 1992 during the family friendly New Generation Era. He was originally offered the role of Doc Hendrix but he turned it down. And that gimmick was given to his Freebirds teammate Michael PS Hayes. I think he went off script in this promo. Garvin could have been the manager of Val Venis in the Attitude Era.
Braun could have been a huge star now if Vince got fully behind him. They would always start to push him, but then kill his momentum. They did that to him when he was a heel and later as a face.
That's what I've been reading lately, that the Mox-Punk rematch will still headline All Out, I guess we'll find out Wednesday.
I didn't watch the last two Rampage shows, just been losing interest in it. AEW needs to put more emphasis on Rampage and book the show better. I was planning on watching Claudio- Dustin match though. I heard the Dark Order beat the House of Black which surprised me, so they're out of the Trios tournament. I guess it's clear that the Elite will be winning, can't wait to see them against Osprey and Aussie Open.
Seems like they put everything into Dynamite, while Rampage is just treated like an after thought. Compare that to last year when they had great segments like CM Punk's AEW debut, Kenny Omega vs. Christian for Impact title, that epic Punk-Kingston promo, and many others.
Now Rampage is just a B show, it's like AEW Dark without the squash matches.
Good promos by Mox and Punk, but the title match would've been WAY better if we hadn't seen Punk already get squashed in about 3 minutes, at least according to Moxley. We know it'll still he a hell of a match though, so as time goes on, it'll be remembered more fondly if it's a real banger. Trios final would've been better if there was a heel team involved, but we knew it would mostly be a ping pong ball spot fest anyway. FTR should've been getting a tag title match here, would've been the perfect time. I guess they're waiting until the next pay per view?

I guess they're taking the Rocky 3 approach with this CM Punk vs. Moxley feud and build up to the rematch.
Ace Steel was like Apollo pretty much.
I look forward to the All Out show regardless, AEW had some bad episodes of Dynamite and Rampage, but they never let people down with their PPVs though.

Eh, some of the earlier ones were like glorified Dynamite episodes, but yeah, the more recent ones were good. MJF needs to come back and start cutting some nasty promos though. I heard Worlds Collide replay is on at the same time, so should be interesting. I don't know why all pay per views can't just be quick 3 hour deals, like they were in the old days. Audiences are exhausted by the time the main event rolls around, even with a 2 night event now.

True, but a lot of the ones that felt like glorified Dynamite episodes were in the early days when they had a small roster, and a lot of their PPVs happened in the pandemic. But they fid they pretty good for the little they had, now they seem too much of a good thing with such a big roster.
Clash at the Castle was pretty good. The main event was the best match, also liked Gunther vs. Sheamus, that was a great match too. Rollins vs. Riddle didn't disappoint either.
Tyson Fury knocked out Theory when he tried to cash in.

Braun should have beat Brock a few years ago.
I wonder who he'll align with. So much for that CYN promotion.
