Nintendo 64. My house was right in the middle of town so I always had tons of kids over and it allowed for four players on multiple games. Golden Eye is OG.

For me it is a tie between PS1 and Super Nintendo.

I think most people’s favorite would be the one’s they grew up with and played in the prime years of their childhood. Because to be quite honest, no group of consoles has given me more playtime than the PS3-PS4. And now the PS5 will take over in terms of hours of play.

So when I say PS1/SNES, it’s just bias. Games back then could be finished like in 1 day or less. You can finish Super Mario 1 for SNES during your lunch break. Now you have games that if you want to complete everything it has to offer, you are looking at triple digits in hours, some are damn near 200 hours. And the best one’s have really high quality gameplay and story. So these new games now keep you entertained for months, that is if you are an adult who has other life obligations.

Online co-op can’t be forgotten either. Couch co-op’s are very fun and all, but the fact that you can live in the US and play with someone from England, or just your friend, that is a big plus.

As for the new generation, I got the Xbox One on day one because I'm a huge Xbox fan. So far, I've enjoyed the console, but ranking it against all of my others would be unfair. I also purchased a Wii U shortly before the release of Mario Kart 8, and I adore it. It's simply a lack of excellent games on the system that is holding it back.

In terms of the PlayStation 4, I'm likely to get one this year. I was never a huge Killzone fan, so the fact that it was the flagship launch title didn't pique my interest. I also never liked the Infamous games, so I had no interest in them. I've heard negative things about. But Bloodborne is a game I CANNOT WAIT TO PLAY. And, believe it or not, The Order has piqued my interest. I've heard a lot of negative things about it, but as someone who works in the film industry, I'm intrigued by games that attempt to blur the line between the two. I also know that great games like Uncharted are on the way. This holiday season, I'll most likely get one.

Probably on a nostalgia tip, but I'd say my top three:

          1. NES
          2. PS2
          3. Xbox 360

PlayStation 2 and it’s not even close. The amount of iconic games that came out of that platform is bar none.

My first system was an Atari 2600. Mom's bought it at a garage sale.

                      Time flies.
