I fully agree. People shouldn't get extra benefits just because they are married. That's not equality. Plus marriage came from religion, there's suppose to be a separation of church and state. But government seen they could get $ from marriage licenses and stuff. I always hate when you read that some lazy partner stayed at home doing nothing, gets a divorce and then takes half of the hard working partner's stuff. That's beyond wrong.
