I'd have to look when the last time Putin was re-elected (and in no way am I saying it was a legitimate election), but either way, I recall it being sourced that while Zelensky won his election, certain areas/provinces of Ukraine were not allowed to vote. That's not a "democratic election" by any stretch.

-Both countries have taken away the civil liberties and rights of its citizens.
