        Mostly yeah.

Only the exceptional people can adhere to these Woke rules and still be funny. Largely it's cringe. I watched this Trevor Noah clip yesterday about people quitting their jobsand I'm like "Is this what people find funny these days"?

And it sucks because he used to be pretty good. Without Orange Man they literally nothing else to rail on, and they have to squirm around to make it seem like Biden is doing a good job.

It already has. It's especially bad in TV and film. A comedian can go on-stage and make jokes without people knowing what they will say. But a TV/film script has to be approved by the money men before it gets filmed so is completely on-message. South Park was one of the only shows not like that and they've broadcast very few new episodes since that one about the trans wrestler made twitter cry.

To a degree but I recommend everyone check what Kat Williams said regarding this topic.

Some of you guys in this thread need to look in the mirror. You blame cancel culture and liberals.

guys like Fists_of_Fury will report anyone who jokes about white people the same way others report to the mods when race jokes are made. Is he a libtard in favor of cancel culture?

In this era everything gets politicized. The result is everyone has become too sensitive and gets offended easily at anything.

That is what is ruining comedy.

Noah is horrible. He has a team of writers who write his material for him and he still sucks. Not funny at all. But most of comedy is preaching to the choir. But we live in a very intolerant society now. Hurt feelings are more important than physical assault in some instances. The thought police are at every turn, just waiting for a reason to be offended.

                Absolutely.

But stand up comedy has been going downhill for a while. It's just oversaturated, and like others here mentioned, every mediocre jerk off gets a Netflix special these days.

Chappelle is past his best days and not as funny as he once was, but he's still 10x more entertaining than anyone else on Netflix.

We’re getting closer and closer to socialism. Cancel culture and political correctness is a form of socialism.

They're literally telling you what is okay and not okay to say. That isn’t what USA was founded on. When people get offended from a joke, they need to look at context clues and get over themselves and understand it’s a fu#king joke. People need to stop being babies and grow up. If someone doesn’t like something, just don’t listen to it or ignore it. That simple. Don’t try to ruin it for other people.

People need to grow up and get over themselves.
