  • Thank God football's back this weekend.

A 2 week break for dry international football for meaningless games was painful.

I think Chelsea will likely get another battering at Anfield. They're fun to watch but I can just see us giving them a goal or two with sloppy passing at the back and then they are good enough to get another few themselves.

We're gonna need to score 4 for a draw, lol

    • Sparked got me watching Chelsea again

Haven't seen them play like an actual team since like Conte. So this much is nice.

Jackson is also not the brightest light bulb of the bunch. Every time I see him, he's getting st.upid yellow cards.

      Side Note:

England getting Thomas Tuchel as a manager might "bring football back home"

      • I figured Chelsea would lose but even then, they played very well against a much better Liverpool team than finished 3rd pace last season.

          I thought Chelsea were good.

I also thought Liverpool were basic.

Constantly slapping the ball 70 metres forward whenever they could because Cucurella was out and the Chelsea left side today was suspect.

Like a kid mashing buttons in street fighter.

Just seemed a bit small time for me. Scouse Brentford.

Chelsea lack that bit of nous which is only ever gonna come through losses.

Chelsea have a few weak links. The keeper (who must be the only keeper in the world scared of being hit. **** me, Robert. It's hardly like playing football in the 1950's. Just weird for such a big bloke. He needs to grow up.

Colwill is another weak link for sure and Enzo albeit he was thankfully dropped is just too slow and too weak for the Premier league. He's the Argentine Billy Gilmour.

I mean proof is in the pudding really and Liverpool won so there is sour gr.apes here but you read reports over here and listen to the pundits it was as if they were the better side. They weren't.

I felt like Chelsea allowed me to hate Liverpool properly today. They matched them. But 1 point out of 6 shows why it is a bit of a struggle.

Liverpool's early position looks false to me. I think come the end of the season they are gonna be in that 3rd/4th bunfight.

Chelsea will surpass them next season and leave them there. F.uck them.

          • Finally a bloody win, Palace had been truly awful up to this point and I was starting to wonder if relegation was coming and Glasner would be sacked, but truly dominated Spurs today and deserved the win. Feels like they figured some stuff out. Back 3 is settled now and Lacroix looks fantastic in the middle. Sarr starting makes them so much more dangerous and dynamic and opens up Munoz to do what he does best and Mateta looked refreshed. If the midfield can get healthy, Palace will flirt with top 10, if not we are probably slated for 14-16, but they definitely are not as bad as Ipswich, Wolves, Southampton or Everton imo.

I was never worried about Palace. Before the season started and before we bought Neto, Sancho et al I thought you might finish above us. Obviously won't now. Chelsea's squad looks monstrous.

Olise is obviously a miss but I think Andersen is more so. Eze score a screamer vs Chelsea but missed chances I would have scored vs Man U.

I think Palace will still be midtable maybe lower midtable.

You can't really sell leaders in your team unless you're sure they are finished. Andersen is a solid premier league centre back who is technically solid.

Fulham is beneath him really. He'd play for Chelsea imo.
