  • Roy Jones and Foreman did not do roadwork?

In all honesty...I hate roadwork. I heard Roy Jones and Foreman did not do roadwork they would get all their cardio from hitting the heavy bag and shadow boxing. I heard Roy Jones cardio exercise was done with all just shadowboxing rounds...if this is true then what is the need for running?

Foreman did I think 3 miles a day in his first career and by his second career he was doing 5-10 miles depending on the day.

    Don't know about RJ though.

I like swimming, but for me, it works more muscle endurance than stamina. Still great to do.

i know for a fact that roy jones does roadwork. he does it in his training dvd and he's said that he does it in interviews. also, there is footage of foreman's comeback where he's doing roadwork and pulling a jeep by having wearing a harness attached to it.

I'm lowering my roadwork because it's really messing up my knees badly. Instead, I'm doing ALOT more jump rope. I mean, instead of 3 rounds, I do 10-15 rounds.

Maybe after a while, I'll start running out on a track or something.

yeah try and run on a track, get some good quality running shoes with alot of support, and eat more calcium rich foods, all of these things will help you.
