  • The Most Complete Boxer Ever

A lot of greats can vie for this top spot.

Who seemed to have all the skills in every department? Who always knew what to do in a ring? Which fighter had the most complete boxing skill set of all time, lads?

Salvador Sanchez in my lifetime was amazing. Terrific puncher, great boxer and tough. Never changed his facial expression.

        Lomachenko
        Duran
        Jofre

Pep when he left his hands go would also fit into this list.

Gomez and Leonard not too far off.

You are subscribing to all the myths, I see.

Robinson got hit way too much to be the most complete fighter ever. He was a great fighter, and maybe the greatest fighter ever overall, but that does not make him the most COMPLETE boxer at all. He is not even close to that. It was a mediocre ring general who over exerted himself against the mediocre Maxim and lost as a result.

Now come back with how hot it was that night. Duh!

Maybe rewatch his fights with Maxim and Basilio.

                Benny Leonard deserves mention.
                Tunney, too.
                Ezzard Charles
                Mayweather fighting at Junior Lightweight

The hole in Duran's game was runners. Runners made him quit and runners like the Viruets made him work awful hard for slim, lackluster victories.

Charles was not really complete because he was only a medium puncher.
