  • AIBA headguard for sparring

I'm looking at getting my own headguard as I've had enough of rushing to get a decent gym one and they are smelly and sweaty. I like open face ones, would a AIBA headguard be good for sparring or would there not be enough padding

For what. Head gears have been proven to increase the bouncing of your brain in your skull when hit...…...Rockin'

I would avoid a head guard unless you have a fight coming up, IMO, or unless it's mandatory that you have to use.

I don't use head guards during fights but we have to wear them in the gym so I was thinking a basic one like the Aiba approved ones would be good to get.

          That would work for me.

With a head gear on, when you eat one on the head gear it compounds the bouncing of your brain in the skull. Why would you believe that the AIBA quit using them? Because it's more exciting to the fans? Because it is safer for boxers from a brain injury point of view.....Rockin'
