  • What strength and conditioning routine did Bruce Lee use

He looked way too chiseled and shredded to just have a basic 5x5 lift program or whatever.

Did he lift a lot of weights?

He was an absolute fitness junkie and spent hours training every day. No surprise he was as low body fat as he was.

He has a book which I own that details much of his training habits and philosophies. I think it's call 'the way of expressing the human body'. I'll look it up and get back to you....

I see. He did incorporate strength training but it seems nothing too heavy. I guess a better question would be what was his diet and total calorie intake?

He really backed off from weight training in his final years. He had been around 160 in the 60s but was down to the 130s in his last years.

He did a lot of isometric training which might have helped him get that lean and dense musculature.

Strangely in his last two years he really stepped up his weight training. It's when he bought his Marcy weight machine. It's just that his routine wasn't focused on building mass.

I knew he had backed off from free weights but was not aware he was using a Marcy machine. Here's an interesting article about it: http://www.workoutlikebrucelee.com/b...cuit-training/
