I do. Because let's be honest, it doesn't matter what his record is and if he has a few losses...he earned that belt.
He KO'd Machado, that's a fact. Machado KO'd Corrales, who was the actual WBA champ at the time.

On paper, right now, the WBA champ is Gervonta Davis. But he fought Cuellar, who was coming off a 2 year lay off and coming up in weight (he wasn't even in the division) for the WBA title which was actually owned by someone else before who got demoted. Why did we let this slide? Nobody is saying anything about it now that Machado got beat.
It doesn't matter that Davis would probably beat Cancio.
Andrew Cancio should get the recognition he deserves. He is the actual WBA champ. If I was him I would sue the WBA. Now he gets to hold a paper title when the actual title belongs to him.

Such a strange situation that screams of corruption...

It’s a difficult one. Cancio is the man that beat the man but Davis is the far more legitimate fighter and holds the “superior” title in the super WBA belt. I have no doubt Tank would crush Cancio but until he does so you have to consider Cancio the true WBA champion.

Why did they strip Machado's Super title away from him and give it to Davis in the first place?

How much did team Davis pay for it?

The easiest way to go about it is to completely ignore the WBA championship and all other ABC titles.

Machado himself was asked that question and he said he doesn't know why they did it...he seemed clueless about the whole situation

I don’t know and honestly couldn’t make a legitimate estimate.
All the sanctioning bodies care about is money, and the WBA are by far the worst IMO
