  • Is the Wilder vs Joshua ordeal already more annoying than the Mayweather vs Pacquiao?

I don't remember Mayweather and Pacquiao having these obnoxious blame-game arguments in the months/years leading up to them actually making a fight.

Nowhere near Mayweather vs Pacquiao proportions. Keep in mind those fools kept fans waiting for 5 years with fans going back and forth. We're barely if even on a year of this trash, but it is annoying

But at least they(Floyd and Manny) had decent opponents to face while they allowed it to marinate.

      Wilder's next fight is alright.

      Joshua better face Whyte next

Its got to the point where this is spilling over into my normal conversations with friends and family

'God and then this one poster called me a wanker and said Wilder said this...', which I replied 'Joshua is this and knocked out Gary Cornish'...I'm crying inside

Not even close . But it's getting there .
With all Team AJ's B.S in the beginning . To Wilder's B.S now . Then you add in Fury talking outta both sides of his mouth .
Plenty of fuel for both fan bases ( not sure if Fury has a fan base ) to keep the fire going for a couple more years .

I'm done with All three of them until they fight each other .

Not even close. The threads here were like 50 per day during 2009-2013 in pacquiao-mayweather heydays.

I was here. I was witnessed to every news.

Nah, Floyd was like “pacquiao you next” in ortiz 24/7 then goes missing for 14 months after. Goes missing for a year after mosley as well.

Pac-Floyd didn’t need much marinating as they’re both superstars during the time the fight was demanded, that’s why it sucked for all of us that it took pacquiao to plank first, lose to bradley and couldn’t be able to KO algierias of the world before the fight happened.

I will never support constant ducking marinating to the full extent even if the opponents are “alright”

its on its way to that level for sure.... there were like 30 threads a day about Floyd, constant purple kool aid, monkey, and other threads as well. fans bickering back n forth, it was way worse...both pac and Floyd were to blame overall in the situation but to act like pac man and his team didn't ruin it initially over testing is too much. aj and eddies BS started this and now wilder and his team are finishing it but again one side and its fan base is acting like they had ZERO fault in the whole ordeal

It’s worse IMO, at least May-Pac were elite level fighters with quality resumes.

True that. I guess that's what made it a bit bearable while fans argued. Nothing anywhere near that kind of depth at heavyweight
