  • Comments Thread For: Arum: We Are Sending Out Tremendous Offer To Deontay Wilder

In the wake of growing concern over Tyson Fury's alignment with Top Rank and ESPN potentially ruining plans for a rematch with Deontay Wilder, Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum is doing his best to assure the public of the exact opposite to be true.

No point, i doubt he would fight on any other network. He might say he is a free agent but he doesn't act like it.

I wonder how many rights to Wilder next fights Arum wants in return.

“The public deserves to see the best fights,” Arum insists. “If promoters can't work together to present the best fights, then shame on the promoters.”

This is coming from the king of in-house fight cards

Sounds positive though .... hopefully they get this fight signed . Will probably be a two fight deal I guess so Arum can get a good wedge of his money back

it wasn't too long ago when deontay wilder and espinoza were slating anthony joshua and eddie hearn because they didn't "understand what loyalty is".
now suddenly, wilder is a "free agent".

wilder is just jealous and upset that joshua got a great deal, and now fury has a huge deal WITHOUT any belts.

So far to say Warren is basically a non-factor now? Arum is clearly running the show now for Fury, right?

I'm sure the money this deal is worth is great, but it has to kill Warren a bit on the inside that he's just a pawn in the big picture.
