Maduro's right about what he's saying, but he should've figured shiz out down there, man. Instead, he ate fancy steaks with that salt bae guy. That left him more vulnerable. I realize it's not all because of him, and that the US has actively screwed Venezuela for decades, but it is what it is. His people still starve, while he clowns around as a dictator. Sooner or later, something was going to happen.

Trump knows Mueller has him on the hook, and Venezuela just so happens to be a convenient distraction. The US couldn't get any aid into Puerto Rico, but they somehow got it all the way into Colombia's border for Venezuela at lightning speed. US has been trying to sneak in weapons, as well. Maduro's just screwed, man. This isn't about the US all of a sudden caring about the people dying in Venezuela; it's about distracting Trump's base from the fact he committed treason with Russia.

I don't really know what to make of the situation. I know the coup is US sponsored, and looks to take over what is left of Venezuela, but, when things are so horrible over there already, I'm not even sure they could get any worse. It's almost like it doesn't matter anymore.
