How many PAID vacation days do you guys get?

I was arguing with this guy at my gym about how Americans get F'd on vacations since American companies dont give us shat, especially in comparison to say like Europe.


He then said his company a health and wellness industry company based in LA gives their employees 6 weeks of paid vacation time off!

I was like WTF? He then said he didnt know the other companies didnt give as much.

I was like yeah you'd be lucky if you could take a full 2 weeks off from an American company paid too.

So how many weeks off do you guys get that is PAID by the company.

My lady gets about 10 days off a year some roll over and some she loses so basically yeah she gets a week off a year.

Same with me I get about the same as well.

I get two weeks right now, then in a few months here will be getting 3 weeks.

I get 7 Paid protected days/ sick days which I can roll over
10 floating holidays
And my Vacation works like this

2 weeks when hired
3 weeks after 5 years
4 weeks after 10 years
5 weeks after 25 years

I got 8 years 4 months
