He was an accumulation guy not a one shot guy. He was definitely a cheat though. It’s possible/probable he cheated in a number of other fights.

Damn good fighter though.

I never heard anything about Pryor cheating in any way shape or form. He was a legit bad ass who could throw 100 hard punches round after round. He was a relentless attacker who never gave his opponents any time to rest. He was a puncher not a clincher or a wrestler and he had a pleasing style to watch if you like hard punching action. He was very talented with incredible stamina and did not need to cheat to win.

He got caught cheating but beat up Alexis worse in the rematch in Las Vegas where they watched him intently ?
Eddie Futch was Alexis's trainer, I hope he had someone watch Panama wrap his hands and glove him.

Alexis, btw, wrapped his own hands .
Billy Costello's trainer made him take out his wraps when he wrapped his hands before they could send someone to check him wrap.

One of the worst cheats in boxing history. What he did to Alexis Arguello should have landed him in prison. That he has anything resembling a legacy is a crime against humanity. Great fighter but he would not have defeated Arguello without the asthma pills supplied by Panama Lewis.
