  • Comments Thread For: Loma Thinks Pedraza Would've Beaten Davis If He Prepared Better

Jose Pedraza impressed Vasiliy Lomachenko on Saturday night. Lomachenko dropped Pedraza twice in the 11th round and convincingly beat him on all three scorecards in their 12-round, 135-pound title unification fight in The Theater at Madison Square Garden. Nevertheless, the WBA/WBO lightweight champion came away from their tactical battle convinced that the version of Pedraza he encountered would've defeated Gervonta Davis.

Tank assaulted Pedraza! No excuses! Styles make fights! Put Pedraza in there with Teofimo Lopez, and watch what he does with him!

He had a really stupid strategy against Davis. If he had chosen to use his hight and length it would have been a different fight.

Lmao Loma humbled after getting exposed. He is pathetic. All that ****iness and he got battered by a D- fighter.

Does Davis get any credit for making Pedrazza fight like that which led to the KO loss?

Not sure what fight some of these "fight fans" were watching it was competitive but exposed? After a surgery and a layoff and you still beat the dog shhh out of your opponent and you've been exposed. Amazing how transparent the hatred is here.

Pedraza is by far Davis's best win, so of course he deserves some credit.

Respectfully, I didn't ask about credit for the win. I was asking does Davis get any credit for forcing Pedrazza to fight the way he did in response to your post.

Loma seemed unable to make Pedrazza change his gameplan while Davis did.

When Davis beat the brakes off Pedraza, he was 23, 16-0 w/ 14 KOs. Is it too early to see Teofimo Lopez vs. Pedraza or Beltran? Lopez is 21, but he looks like a monster!

Teofimo Lopez is another young guy able to cut a lot of weight and make a lower weight class. The dude is probably the biggest 135 lber there is right now.
