Fight night weights of Canelo and GGG?

  • #2
Luckily I have a good friend who is a GGG fan and he told me the weights.

GGG apparently weighed 160 on fight night and Canelo weighed 210 on fight night

Even though I thought GGG won the fight, I think he looked a lot bigger than Canelo, to me it looked like a welterweight was fighting a middleweight.

Also the people who watched the fight with me and weren't really boxing fans noticed the great size difference and thought Canelo did really good for his size but he didn't do enough to win.

No fight night weights were given. In recent fights when fight night weights were given both GGG and Canelo have been between 170 and 172 consistently. They are as close in fight night weight as any two boxers can be. The scales don't lie even if some say GGG looks like a light heavyweight and poor skinny Canelo looks like a welterweight. For years now haters have falsely accused Canelo of being a weight bully who goes up to near 180 pounds after the weigh in. Hell, liar Khan said Canelo weighed 195 pounds when he fought him. Now all of a sudden Canelo has become a natural welterweight and GGG is the weight bully. Canelo and GGG are both full middleweights now. Canelo started fighting at age 15 and once he was a welterweight. He is a powerful 28 year old middleweight now. Hurd was supposed to be a weight bully because he looked huge. On fight night he weighed the same 168 pounds that Lara, Trout and Jermell weighed on fight night for their last fight. Spence is another so called weight bully who isn't. Spence weighed 157 on fight night the last time he fought. That's exactly the same as Crawford weighed for Horn on fight night and only 8 pounds more than Mikey weighed on fight night for Easter. I pay attention to fight night weights if they give them. You can learn a lot from them.

We already know Canelo was the guy who was fighting at a lower weight class most of his career, and g ALWAYS fought at middle. The guy from the lower weight class, came in and fought "toe2toe" and BEAT HIM. Like WARd did kov (remember when he was the Krusher), your fav fighters keep losing big fights, and it must be some reason, not the obvious....PEOPLE ALWAYS LOOK FOR A REASON WHY, WHEN THE OBVIOUS IS JUST STARING YOU IN THE FACE. No one I've talked to, think G won that fight. He talked all that sh|t and Canelo WALKED HIM DOWN AND TOOK THE TITLE.

I don’t know the weights but a blind man could clearly see that ggg was considerably bigger than canelo.

GGG looked bigger at the weigh in and on fight night. I'm pretty sure the weight difference was negligible.

The story before this fight, was how much smaller Canelo looked (Atlas and Steven A) were talking about this on sportcenter, there is a video. What does it matter?..Canelo is P4P#1 and beat the middle weight champion @his game.
