  • Spence-Crawford TOO BIG for Pacquiao?

I read about people saying Crawford and Spence are TOO BIG for Pacquiao? Do they mean the height or skill difference? Pac fought Mosley, Rios, Vargas, Horn, Bradley, Algieri, Dela Hoya, and Margarito. ALL of which are bigger/taller than Crawford or Spence. What TOO BIG are you talking about?! Too skilled (at this point) maybe the right term, but too big?

By the way, 2009 Pac destroys Crawford and Spence easy, 2018 Pac still got 40-50% chance imo.

Pac doesnt stand a chance against either Spence or Crawford.
He should just retire as an ATG on a high of a knock out.
Unfortunately it's gonna take a brutal beating for him to consider this.

I understand. But whether you like it or not, PAC got a chance, though not a huge one. He ain't fighting them on a straight-jacket for ****s sake. I'm just wondering about the 'TOO BIG for Pac' that are all over the board.

Is Spence-Crawford too big and skilled for Pacquiao back 5 or more years ago? No, are they too big and skilled for Pacquiao of now? Yes. They'll beat Manny at this stage of his career.

Pacquiao is supposed to lose to both. Let's see it though.

Pacquiao was given the chance to rise to superstardom by Dela Hoya, et al. Now it is his turn to give the young ones that chance.

I agree 2009 Pacman is just on another level he beats both Crawford and Spence, him and Money May are just way too good for the competition. This is 2018 though, Pacquiao is way past his prime but there's still a chance for him to beat both no matter how small that chance might be, I agree with the others though about Manny shouldn't be fighting those young and hungry lions. I really hope for Manny just fight the other guys like Khan, Broner and Horn, the Pacman doesn't need to prove anything anymore he's an ATG and it's not fair for an old legend to fight the best young talents of today. I simply don't want to see the Pacman suffer anymore defeat.

Pacquiao was given his chance to rise against ledwaba

Dela Hoya was way after he became established

Too big, too strong, too young for Pacquiao

But Pac can beat THURMAN. And the best part is, he is in the top of the welterweight food chain.

boxing is not a charity, it's a brutal sport that could cause massive damage to one's health. Oscar did not fight Pacquiao as a favor to pass the torch, Manny was already a big draw by beating some Mexican legends and thus made ODH vs Pacquiao a huge fight.

Now you have the situation with Crawford and Spence, who are not known outside the boxing world because they have beaten nobody. Crawford's biggest win is Jeff Horn lol. Crawford and Spence are unknowns to casuals, and getting casuals to buy PPV is what makes a super fight.
Fighting Crawford/Spence, this late in Pacquiao's career, is simple a high risk-low reward fight.

From what it looks like, Pacquiao is going to continue to box no matter what anyone says, so I say if Pac decides to fight Crawford or Spence, then so be it. It would be some epic *****
