Man this sounds so shady. lol. Seems like Schaeffer was really pushing for this payoff to hype the WBSS. If he's now a Champion in Recess, then when he returns he's the Regular Champion? Why not have him as the Regular Champion now. Gassiev already beat Lebedev. I don't understand this champion in recess gimmick. Seems like all involved got paid to play along for the sole purpose of the WBSS Final.
