  • Will Wilder vs. Joshua be signed/set before either is beaten? When will it happen?

A Wilder vs. Joshua fight just has that five years of trash talk and negotiations breaking down and injuries feel to me.

If they finally set it before one or both lose their "0" getting blasted out by some Lamon Brewster or Corrie Sanders type, where do you think the fight will be held? Vegas? Or Wembley?

I'd like to see it because it'd be good fun, a huge event and it'd put an end to the nonstop ridiculous statements that either or both are Ali, Tyson, Liston and Larry Holmes rolled into one.

If wilder loses to the old, slow cuban this fight will still happen in england. Wilders split should rightfully then drop to 20-25%. No way AJ loses to the little kiwi though.

Dont kniw why wilder beating Ortiz is being taken as a given. Molina nearly got him out of there and spzlika took him tto school for most of there fight lol, he's very beatable.

Hearn has been saying since before the Takam fight his plan was to fight 3 times in 2018, Parker first, then a summer defence likely his WBA mandatory Povetkin and then Wilder.

Question is can both stay undefeated until then. Joshua has the tougher run in Parker and Povetkin but is also the bigger favourite to win those fights. Wilder has Ortiz who is a serious threat and then perhaps a mandatory against Whyte or Breazeale whoever the WBC decides is his mandatory.

I think both will remain undefeated and will fight in the winter of 2018, but upsets happen so won't be shocked if it doesn't.

You're probably right, even with a Wilder loss, which isn't impossible, though unlikely against Ortiz, I think...there's just too much money to be made in England with that fight.

The Funny thing is this fight will happen once Americans are behind Wilder. It's all up to the Americans if this fight will happen this year,Hearn and AJ want that US PPV and UK PPV rolled into one. This is only possible if Wilder Joshua happens in Vegas.Vegas will only put the money up once they come to the conclusion that Wilder is a big star in the US Boxing Scene. But he is not because he only manages to get 1M on Basic Showtime. So imagine if they went PPV which Showtime would have to,to bring Joshua over ?? It wont do more than 250K Buys which is a massive flop

I don't think the fight will happen. Wilder will insist on a 50/50 split and that the fight happens in the USA preferably in Alabama.

Wilder was a bit wobbled by a couple of punches. You're exaggerating. You're also probably exaggerating about the Spzlika fight but I can't say because I didn't see it.
