  • Comments Thread For: Lomachenko's Manager: Pacquiao is Old, No Gain in Beating Him

Egis Klimas, the manager of WBO super featherweight world champion Vasiliy Lomachenko, denied the information put out in the press by Manny Pacquiao (59-7-1, 38 KOs) - that he was negotiating a potential catch-weight fight with the Ukrainian two-time Olympic gold medal winner. During a televised interview in the Philippines, Pacquiao said he was negotiating for a Lomachenko fight and trying to work out the issue of weight.

I agree no interest in this fight. Its like ODLH vs PAC if ODLH won it just meant Pac was too small and when Pac won all it did was prove ODLH was shot.

I guess there was more gain in beating an old Rigondeaux who was moving up 2 weight classes.

Pac whoops his ass at 140.

Loma takes it if it's anything below that.

Crawford deserves Pacquiao. Arum needs to do right by him.

Some of the stuff he said is fine.. about questioning what the gain would be.

However, he doesn't take into account the exposure Loma would get.

Also his talk about weight is BS. Loma walks around 138 lbs, he said it himself in an interview. Loma and Pac are close to the same size. And he just fought Rigo who moved up in weight.

Its about time Loma steps up two weight classes like Rigo did. They dont wanna say it but even old Pac schools Loma at 140
