  • My LAST RIGO-LOMA Thread, promise! ''But Why Did LOMA Deny RIGO the CATCHWEIGHT?!''

The matchup was always talked about in industry, the fight happened because Rigo had to concede to 130 to make the fight. Rigo Loma had the longest P4P callouts than the current list.

The essence of a catchweight is for TWO FIGHTERS that meet in the middle. SO WHY in the fück did LOMA not give Rigo a catch agreement back in 2015?

Remember, the original arrangement said by Hyde, reported by DAN RAFAEL, was a 124 catch and Loma was allowed to rehydrate to 135 max.....

ESPN reported that Loma was at 138 the morning of the fight vs Rigondeaux..

So why would Lomachenko make a fool of himself, knowing that catchweights exist, out of respect for a P4P, as Mikey is doing for Loma at 135 if that comes, so why would Loma degrade his win over Rigondeaux when industry had already been talking about the catch, including Rafael in 2015!!!

Please, someone make sense out of this! Here's Rafael's article

Rigo turned down the fight at 126, now 2 years later after Loma moved up to 130 and was flirting with moving up to 135, he should suddenly drain himself down just because?

The suggestion is just as dumb as asking Ward to drain at 164 after moving up to 175. Once you move up, you stay there.

Klimas and Loma offered ''126'' when Loma went to 130. lol

Hyde told Dan Rafael in 2015, when Loma was at 126, that they would allow Loma to rehydrate to 135 in a 124 catchweight. Dan Rafael wrote about this!!

then why did Loma and Klimas offer 126 to Rigo a year later after rejecting 124 in 2015 when Loma was at Featherweight?

who's crying? There are catchweights in boxing. Championship fighters is the most ideal catchweight scenario for p4p.

how often do we get P4P catchweights?

Santa Cruz avoided Rigo in 2015, moved up. Frampton stuck around to fight Quigg still in 2016... Why didn't these two unify at 122? When Rigo had already unified at 122!? Hyde wanted Quigg before Frampton got the opportunity. Clockwork matchmaking. Nobodies crying. Just saying Loma is an idiot to downplay his win!

Both Rigo and Loma lost their 0s!!

Enjoy Loma's WBO journey while it lasts and or when he fights an elite opponent in his division!

I'm delighted that catchweights seem to be on their way out. I always hated them. Rigo doesn't beat Loma at any weight. Get over it.
