I dont know about high school dropouts. But my dad is my hero. He doesn’t have a college degree but is the Vice President of a multi billion dollar retail company and my pops first job was pizza hut. He worked his ass off and had a lil bit of superior intelligence but not genius, just a smart guy working hard was able to take himself from the bottom living in poverty to the 1% of America in 20 years of his life. Hes my hero for that very reason and is a testament to what hardwork can do in this country

You don't really need college to be successful these days. I know a lot of small business owners that don't have any type of degree and they are making good money. Also I've seen a lot of people on YouTube who are considered "creators" and they are dumb as rocks making $100,000 at least a year on ad revenue. I even see people actually eat on camera or reactions to tv shows or videos and make money from it. How uncreative is that? Kinda crazy how everyone has the opportunity to make that type of money but you have to know what you are doing and where you are going. My homie from high school got a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and he is working sales at Best Buy. People just need direction tbh.

Long story short, I dropped out of high school in the 12th grade to pursue a music career in Korea. I got picked at an audition and became member of a Kpop group no bullsht. I lived as a semi-star, a B lister for about a year and a half until i beat up our manager near death oke day after finding out how he took money behind my back.

As young and naive as i was, all i could think about was how home sick i was and how much i just wanted to kick it with the homeboys back home in LA. I realized this kpop lifestyle wasnt for me cuz there were too many restrictions, like what i could and couldnt do in public etc. i thought to myself if i made it this far in the business, then i can always do it again when i grow up more. So i said fuk everybody and flew back to LA without telling anybody. I just didnt care.

With the money i made as a kpop member, i came back to LA and bought ecstasies which was booming at the time. I bought them by the boat and started slanging again. I was back hustling and gang bangin, i felt right at home again.

After few years, me and three of my closest homies saved up enough money to start a hostess bar business in Koreatown. Short time later, i somehow got in the flooring business as well and today i own a 20,000 sqft hardwood wharehouse. Business is booming..

Do i regret not graduating high school and college?? I certainly do not regret that. School isnt for everybody and it definitely wasnt for me. I liked shortcuts.

But what I truly regret so much to this day is how i threw away a once in a lifetime opportunity. I thought id stay young forever and that i could get into the entertainment industry whenever i wanted but i was wrong.

If i had stayed in Korea, i would probably be a major fkin singer—actor but i threw it all away.

Today i have a wife and two beautiful kids and money isnt a problem but i cant get Korea out of my head.

Making the right choices in life is so important, its so fkin crucial.

If i had made the right choice, i could have been 100x better off than i am right now.

The success stories are cool, but they're few and far between. For every high school dropout success story you hear, you get about 1,000 stories of guys flipping burgers. These days, you need either a degree, or a certification in a trade, which still requires schooling.

I would recommend an apprenticeship program for a trade though. You get to go to school and get paid at the same time. That's what I should've done. Plus just think about it, you're CERTIFIED in something. That really means a lot more than a degree. At least, that's how I look at it.

Meeting the right people and making the connections is very important. It ‘s all about networking i cant stress that enough. Luck plays a huge part as well believe it or not.

If somebody wants to be an engineer, doctor or some sht like that, school is probably important but i think learning a trade is better these days.

I got into the flooring business by coincidence. An older friend of mine asked me to invest in his construction business and i did. Soon i realized how much money was in this business so with the drug money, i rented a 8000sqft warehouse and started importing hardwoods from china. It just took off from there.

Flooring is my legitimate business and main source of income but i do a bunch of other sht on the side. Multiple source of income is important.
