JOHANNESBURG The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has ordered a rematch between light-flyweight champion Filipino Milan Melindo and South Africa's Hekkie Budler. This follows the pair's controversial 12-rounder last month in Cebu City, Philippines, where the Filipino won officially by split decision.

Budler will beat melinda anywhere except the philipines cause the judges will rob him again.

I thought the first fight was close, with KD in the 12th possibly saving Melindo. I'd probably favour Budler in a rematch.

How many times had been Filipino fighters became a victim of hometown and bad decisions in SA and no rematch has been ordered.

          Butthurt.
Obviously his team only cares when they feel slighted, not like South Africa has a reputation for slighting foreign fighters or anything.
These primadonnas who are used to having their way are always the first to complain when reality sinks in. Close fight but Melindo rightfully won.

I dont know what the commissions policies in the Philipines are but in the beginning of the final round the ref took Melindo to the corner to look at a doctor and then the corner/cut man started to treat him?

Clash of heads - the extra point would of not made a difference in judge Glenn Trowbridge score that awarded Milan the fight by 112-115 but judge Takeo Harada only gave Hekkie three rounds! that with the bad call on the knockdown and how they gave Milan special treatment in the corner with one judge ( Carl Zappia 115-113 ) seeing it for Budler warrants a rematch.
