  • someone explain to me again why a 25 year old kid,

who had fought welters/jr mw's and already been in big ppv events, was supposed to be in a hurry or rush to fight a 33 year old guy with a lackluster ppv under his belt against a guy that lost to joachime alcine and marco rubio?

i dont get it guys...i still see golovkin fanboys running around here talkin bout canelo waiting ggg out and waitin for him to show signs of rust

what was he supposed to do ? fight golovkin 5 years ago too? lolol...

its just sad....i aint even gonna bash golovkin...but yall ran around here swearing canelo bout to get his career, life etc. ended....and golovkin couldnt even convincingly beat a guy floyd whitewashed......cmon guys...get a grip and realize golovkin is a real good fighter...he just aint great like yall wanted him to be

In my opinion Canelo needed the Golovkin fight the same way Mayweather needed the Pacquiao fight.

Canelo and Mayweather needed those fights to prove to the people that they weren't scared/ducking.

The Canelo-GGG fight took place at the perfect time in my opinion.

May-Pac was a few years too late.

i would agree that the ggg/canelo fight took place at the perfect time

try telling that to the golovkin fanboys who swore he would savagely ko canelo....they swear canelo is chicken that had to wait to see signs of "decline"......i guess the 25 year old should have been in a hurry to give the 33 year old b-side his fight sooner?!?!?

That's just the way it is. This is the fight the fans wanted so it had to be made.

I'm wondering who's more obsessed with GGG. His fans or his critics (mostly racially motivated)?

Just a bizarre obsession with one man. Can't put my finger on it.

its typical delusional behavior for golovkin fanboys to assume all his critics are black males with racial motivations...its simply not true..im a white male in my mid 30's....i have respect for kovalev and loma....i dont bash them or knock them...they have earned respect

golovkin has taken the safe route aside from beating up C/B- level mws....his resume stinks and he hasnt proven himself to be the world beater hbo and his team made him out to be

it has nothing to do with race...its sad and pathetic that you cant see the actual reason...but its most likely because you need something to believe in and live through
